A letter to Geraldo
Rivera by Kenneth Scruggs
June 26, 2001
To the Rivera program,
Monday evening (6-25-01) at about 6:45 P.M. Pacific Time, your show
brought tears to my eyes as I watched Vincent Bugliosi explain to
the Nation exactly how I (along with millions of Americans) have
felt for 6 months now. His profound expertise and honesty is what
all of us (non-legal background) citizens have been trying to articulate
but haven't been able to. My vote was thrown out by the "criminal
element" of the United States Supreme Court, the election of 2000
was handed to George Bush, and it will never be forgotten!
Not only will I never accept nor recognize the illegitimate Presidency
of George Bush, but I refuse to salute or honor the flag and associated
holidays until this country has a fair Presidential Election in
2004. I have read Mr. Bugliosi's book twice and I watched your 15
minute segment 3 times with emotional chaos running through my body
and soul on each occassion. Many news organizations/stations believe
that there is no interest in this subject and it is long forgotten,
but that assumption could be no further from the truth. Us "little
people" just do not have the power or resources to be heard. The
anger and hurt after this "rape" is still there, believe me. Thank
you again for inviting Mr. Bugliosi (a true American Hero) on your
show.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Scruggs
(San Diego, Ca.)
